Barracks

Offender housing at the Challenge Incarceration Program (CIP) for men. Each of the three barracks at CIP houses up to 60 offenders.

Squad

A squad is a group of offenders that enter the program together, eat, sleep, work, march, physically train, and attend education, cog skills classes and chemical dependency together. The squad concept instills teamwork, support systems, positive peer culture and positive feedback.

Campus

CIP is designed to integrate physical training and work in the daily schedule. Training, such as running, emphasizes overall physical conditioning. Most work, such as wood cutting, is manual labor and serves as a basis for developing good work habits.
